I cannot live without a PT controller that is why i sticked with it. The last 4 years were a real nightmare as far i'm concerned with this board. Not only it scares the hell out of the people in the studio but it makes your stress-meter go far beyond its max. This is something i like a lot when you're with new clients or when mixing. Sometimes when the unit gets too much excited a loud POP can be heard in the main monitors and then no more sound unless you turn the main pot then the audio comes back! Just make a search for ALL IT UP in the Control24 Threads - you will learn a lot.īack to CEV, they inspected the unit from A to Z.Ĭleaned all contacts, applied deoxit and progold there and there, and the ALL LIT UP and crazy fader madess problems keep coming back. So i can clearly admit that all Control24 in production (be it Rev H or else) sooner or later had these issues.
Each time my C24 came back at the studio the problems were still rising a few days later everytime.Įven during these downtime, i had their brand new Control24 as a replacement and believe it or not.i saw the very same problems on theirs as well. The unit has been serviced three time by CEV a local Digidesign authorized repair center here in Montreal. I'm sorry to announce bad news but you will never be able to get rid of that problem.Įither you live with it or you change for something else.
